🔽 Step 1: Download Ledger Live

To ensure you’re using a secure version of the app:

  • Go to the official Ledger website: https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live
  • Choose the appropriate version for your device:
  • Windows, macOS, or Linux

⚠️ Never download Ledger Live from third-party sites. Fake versions can compromise your crypto.

🔌 Step 2: Set Up Your Ledger Device

Once Ledger Live is installed:

  1. Connect your Ledger Nano S, S Plus, or Nano X via USB (or Bluetooth on Nano X).
  2. Enter your PIN to unlock the device.
  3. Ledger Live will prompt you to either:
  • Set up as new device
  • Restore from recovery phrase

If you’re restoring an existing wallet, use your 24-word recovery phrase to regain access.

🔐 Step 3: Secure Your Wallet

  • Ledger will generate your 24-word recovery phrase during setup (if it’s a new device).
  • Write it down and store it offline in a safe place.
  • Never share your recovery phrase — Ledger will NEVER ask for it.
